  • Kuldhara Village – A desolated village known as Kuldhara is situated in the city of Jaisalmer in the state of Rajasthan. The existence of this village dates back to 13th Century and it was believed to be the place of habitation for Paliwal Brahmins who were a prosperous community of their times.
    The Government of Rajasthan has made consistent efforts to develop this village as tourist site since the year 2010 whereas since the time of its abandonment Kuldhara is known as a haunted and eerie site amongst the locals and visitors.
    An old belief is attached to the village of Kuldhara that while the place was being deserted the community of Paliwals used black magic and cursed the village that it would not be able to re-occupied again. There had been a presence of supernatural things with the people who have made consistent efforts to inhabit the village. This village is known for its haunted and eerie vibes and is a prominent place of tourist attraction.
  • Bada Bagh – Bada Bagh which means Big Garden in English is a place which is located at a distance of around 6 kilometres from the main city of Jaisalmer. The Bada Bagh comprises of a cluster of a tank, cenotaph and a huge which are present in the surrounding circumstances of the garden. The major attractions of the location is the cenotaphs which are a symbol of royalty and richness and were last constructed by Maharaja Jawahar Singh.   • Jaisalmer Fort – Sonar Quila is the local name of the Jaisalmer Fort which is considered as one of the largest forts all over the world.   • Visiting Tanot Mata Temple – Tanot Mata Temple is located at a distance of around 130 km from the city of Jaisalmer and is situated in Tanot village. This holy place is a prominent place of tourist attraction and is a must visit for anyone who is paying a visit to the mighty Thar Desert. The holy shrine is known for its divine aura and purity. Border Security Force (BSF) of India is the body which looks after the maintenance and preservation of this heritage site since the war of 1971 between India and Pakistan. The temple deity is believed to be the apparition of Hinglaj Mata Goddess. There are several stories which are frequently shared between the soldiers of Indian Army. There is a belief that during the time of war it was Tanot aka Awad Mata who helped the Indian soldiers to fight against the enemies. During the war of 1971, even though more than 3000 bombs were thrown by Pakistan in the region surrounding the Tanot Mata Mandir, not a single one exploded. All those unexploded bombs are treasured in the Tanot museum which is located in the temple premises. Visiting this temple is a must because wonderful several tales are attached to it.
  • Longewala Border – Longewala Border is located at distance of around 35 km from the famous Tanot Mata Temple. One can visit the Border Pillar, which BSF Post BP 69, which is situated at the border and special permission is required to be taken.
